Training session for Nashville marathon is Saturday on the steps of the Capitol

St. Jude Nashville Rock ‘n’ Roll Nashville Running Series will host a new training event at the Tennessee state capitol Saturday.

The Capitol Steps Workout begins at 1 p.m. and is open to runners/walkers who are participating in the 2023 race. Registration will be available at the event, which is for all fitness levels.

Fitness guru and certified Ironman coach and race ambassador James Crumlin, a Nashville attorney, will lead the workout.

The workout will begin at 600 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at the steps on the Northeast corner of the Capitol.

Parking will be available on the street on the opposite side of the Capitol. Advance check in is available by going to the Eventbright link linktr.ee/jamescrumlin.

The St. Jude Rock 'n' Roll Nashville Marathon and Half-Marathon is April 22.
