A new trampoline park is coming to SLO County. Get a sneak peek at what’s planned

Get ready to bounce, Paso Robles: A new trampoline park is in the works.

Paso Robles residents Donna and Nic Murdoch have signed a franchise agreement with Altitude Trampoline Park to bring one of the family entertainment company’s bouncing havens to town.

“Altitude Trampoline Park represents more than just a source of fun,” Donna Murdoch said in a news release. “It’s a place that celebrates life’s moments by promoting an active, dynamic spirit.”

The parks feature indoor trampolines, virtual reality games, obstacle courses, dodgeball competitions and more.

It would be the first of its kind in San Luis Obispo County. The closest similar facility is the Rockin’ Jump trampoline park at the Santa Maria Town Center.

Paso Robles couple discovered trampoline park in Seattle

The Murdochs first encountered Altitude’s parks when living in the Seattle area, and upon moving back to Paso Robles knew they wanted to bring the fun they had there to here.

“We really did miss having an Altitude close to us, Donna Murdoch said in the release. “The brand stood out to us because both the brand and its leadership team aligned well with our values.”

The trampoline park is still a little ways from opening.

The Murdochs are currently searching for “the right space to sign a lease and begin the development on the new park,” a spokesperson for Altitude told The Tribune. The couple hopes to have the new park open by early 2024.

“We’re thrilled to bring aboard an individual who embraces fun, happiness and freedom like Nic and Donna,” Altitude Trampoline Park CEO Mike Rotondo said in the release. “With their long-standing ties to the community, they are the ideal franchisees to bring Altitude Trampoline Park’s proven business model to Paso Robles and establish a home for gravity-defying joy, exhilaration, social growth and wellness.”

Altitude Trampoline Park, which bills itself as “the world’s largest family entertainment concept,” is in the process of expanding to markets across the country. According to the release, it is currently prioritizing opening new franchise locations in Minnesota, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Oklahoma, Missouri and elsewhere.
