Josh Duhamel and his wife Audra Mari have announced the birth of their baby in a sweet Instagram post.

The Transformers star and Mari shared the name of their baby, Shepherd Lawrence Duhamel, and the date of birth in the caption of a black and white snaps of his feet.

Duhamel and Mari, who is a model and former Miss World America, began dating in 2018 and tied the knot in 2022.

The couple announced they were expecting a baby in September last year. In a joint Instagram post, the pair revealed the baby scans, teasing: "Baby Duhamel coming soon."

Duhamel has a son from his previous marriage to singer Fergie. The former couple started dating in 2004 and got married in 2009, welcoming Axl in 2013. They announced their separation in 2017, finalising their divorce two years later.

Fergie commented on Mari's pregnancy announcement, writing: "I am truly happy for you guys," and adding: "Axl can't wait to be a big brother."

Shortly before the birth of baby Shepherd, Duhamel took to Instagram to announce production had wrapped on his next project, action comedy London Calling.

"That's a wrap on London Calling!!" Duhamel wrote alongside a carousel of pictures from set.

"Leaving Cape Town with nothing but incredible memories," he continued, calling the film: "Truly one of my favorite projects I've ever worked on."

Directed by Allan Ungar, who had previously worked with Duhamel on Bandit, the film stars the Shotgun Wedding actor as Tommy Ward, a mediocre hitman on the run from a London crime boss played by Game of Thrones' Aidan Gillen.

Written by Omer Levin Menekse and Quinn Wolfe, the movie also features Suits star Rick Hoffman and It actor Jeremy Ray Taylor.

London Calling is expected to hit cinemas in 2025.
