Following some big wins in legislation for the Biden Administration and Democrats, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg addresses some of the important aspects in the Inflation Reduction Act. The evening before, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was on The Late Late Show with James Corden once again promoting these new pieces of legislation and measures the Department of Transportation is taking to better the nation’s infrastructure.

“The President recently signed the inflation Reduction Act. Something that is going to make such a difference to so many people here and across California, another extraordinary legislative achievement. Making prescription drugs more affordable for seniors, helping families save on their utility bills. And while unfortunately it didn't get any Republican votes in Congress, I do want to note that that bill has widespread bipartisan support among the American people and that's one more reason it's a good thing that it got done.”
