Trauma and healing: Life after the troubled teen industry

When he was 15, Daniel Stearns’ parents sent him to wilderness therapy and a therapeutic boarding school. At the time, they thought it was the best way to help him cope with emotional distress. They are now collectively working through the trauma left by that decision.
