The planets of love and expression are lining up in your sign, Sagittarius, making your philosophical side emerge, while the Moon’s movement this week is triggering some emotions and even nostalgia. Embrace these as you pay your respects to a great singer and peacemaker as you gather with the other imaginers in Strawberry Fields early in the week. This designated quiet zone in Central Park, the heart of New York City, will give you the space to reflect upon what is coming up to be honored in you.

It’s been an intense few months, Capricorn, and you are ready to unwind. Board a prop plane from Panama City for the exotic Bocas del Toro Islands, and feel as if you’ve stepped into another time and place. Snorkel around the mangrove roots, said to be the ocean’s nursery, or lay back and just watch the waves lap on shore. If you’re really feeling adventurous, try out an ocean kayak or hop on a water taxi and explore one of the other nine islands in the archipelago — or not! All you really need to do is unplug this week, and feel refreshed and revived.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Mars’s recent shift into your sign is lighting the internal fire you need to get up and go! Head down under to Australia’s Sunshine Coast and catch some summertime vibes on Fraser Island, the world’s largest sand island and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hike through the ancient rainforests, run along the impossibly white beaches (with sand dunes dating back 30,000 years), or take a freshwater dip in the unforgettable Lake McKenzie. K’gari, the Aboriginal name for the island, means “paradise” — and that, Aquarius, is all you need to know.

The planets have been lining up, supporting your larger vision, but the watery Moon’s movement this week is giving you the go-ahead to have some fun. Grab your underwater camera, strap on your diving tank, and head to the Cenotes in Mexico. This series of subterranean rivers, lakes, and sinkholes is said to be the pinnacle of diving in the Yucatán. Be inspired as you snap away at this incredible hidden world, where you can swim among underwater stalagmites as the sun shines through the jungle, lighting your expedition. Go for it, Pisces — take the plunge!

The planets are giving you an adventurous spirit these days, and thanks to Mars’s recent movement, you’re very popular and have an entourage to join you in all your playfulness! Grab your friends and head to Saint Kitts, where commercialism has yet to strike. View the rainforests by zipline or the coast while riding on the scenic open-air railway that circles part of the island. Splash about in the turquoise waters of Conaree Beach, with its contrasting black volcanic sand, thanks to the nearby Mount Liamuiga, and maybe join in a pick-up cricket game. Roll with it this week, Aries, always keeping fun in the forefront.

You’ve been doing a lot of personal excavating lately, purging the excess and the unnecessary as you uncover deeper gems beneath the surface. This week, however, the planets are telling you to take a little break from this important work. Go wander the halls of the American Museum of Natural History in New York and marvel at the treasures from other deep digs. Wrap up the visit at the Origami Holiday Tree, adorned with hand-made origami dinosaurs inspired by the prehistoric treasures in the museum’s halls. Just make sure you get out before the doors close, because you never know what might happen once the lights go out…

The Moon in your sign at the end of the week and Mars’s recent shift are giving you the energy and drive to be active, while your heart is urging you to simply go with the flow. Outside of Nha Trang, Vietnam, lies Bai Dai Beach, whose name means “Long Beach”; it’s a rightful favorite in Southeast Asia for catching some serious waves. Get on your board now, and cherish this slice of surfers’ heaven while it’s still relatively undiscovered — at least for the next few years.

Your love of the arts and literature is at the forefront of your astrological stage this week, Libra. Grab your copy of The Iliad and head to Turkey to see the archaeological site of the ancient Aegean city of Troy, from which was launched the famous Trojan War. Wander around the ancient ruins dating back more than 4,000 years, enjoy the lush forests of nearby Mount Ida, or marvel at the art of the Zeugma Mosaic Museum in Gaziantep. Travel back in time, and connect to the civilizations that helped shape our present-day world.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Lake Rotorua, New Zealand (Photo: GLVImages/Moment/Getty Images

This week, get yourself grounded, Scorpio. Journey to Lake Rotorua on New Zealand’s North Island, where you can experience a real stick-to-your-ribs Maori Hāngi feast where the food is cooked in an underground pit lined with burning-hot volcanic stones from the nearby Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley. Burying your food is a very dramatic way to cook, indeed, but the taste imparted by this unique subterranean method is delicious and really like none other. Wash it all down with a locally brewed Kiwi beer, and you will be satisfied for days!
