Travel Increasing At DIA, But Still Below Pre-Pandemic Levels

Of course, numbers these days compared to last year will be drastically different.

- People are starting to feel a little more comfortable traveling again. Denver International Airport says compared to last year, the numbers really seem outrageous. There was an 800% increase in passengers going through the airport. That is looking at the last week of April 2021, compared to 2020.

Now, of course, we were still unsafe, were at home orders at that time. Only 30,000 people went through DIA that week. Now, 30,000 are going through every day. Compared to 2019 though, of course, airport traffic is down about 30%.
