Travel with Jess Fleming — to New Orleans!

So you all know I have been traveling with readers (many of whom are now friends!) to Europe for the past few years. That’s been fun, and it will continue. But in September, we’re trying something new — shorter, in-between trips to somewhere in this beautiful, gigantic country.

We’re kicking things off with one of my favorite cities in the world: New Orleans.

With its French-inspired architecture, unique cuisine and mysterious and musical culture, the city is like nowhere else. If you haven’t been, this five-day, four-night trip is a great introduction. If you have, you’re probably looking for an excuse to return!

We’ll tour the French Quarter, visit one of the city’s famous, crypt-filled cemeteries, learn how to make some Louisiana cuisine at a cooking school, take a swamp cruise, eat at renowned restaurant The Court of Two Sisters and, of course, take in some jazz.

The tour, which runs from Sept. 10-14, includes airfare, lodging at the four-star Royal Sonesta Hotel in the heart of the French Quarter and many of your meals.

If you want to know more, we’re holding a virtual presentation about the tour at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 9.
