A good wine can transport you to a different place. The aroma of the vineyard, the taste of terroir, — each relaxing sip becomes a journey. So even if you never leave the house, it's fitting that Travel + Leisure is finally launching their own wine club. And if you're interested in actual travel, membership includes opportunities to visit the wineries, too.

Debuting today, Travel + Leisure Wine (which can be found at travelandleisurewine.com) offers selections from over 25 wineries, and hammering home the travel theme, wine club membership also offers curated tours and complimentary wine tasting experiences at a dozen of those estates in California, Oregon, and Washington.

The program was created in partnership with Vintage Wine Estates, which was established 20 years ago and has since grown to include over 50 wine brands along the West Coast. The wines available through Travel + Leisure Wine are curated from these estates, with a focus on bottles "offering an authentic sense of place" and regularly including limited quantity wines that would otherwise only be sold in tasting rooms.

Quarterly shipments include either four or six bottles depending on your membership package, along with the club's Exclusive Wine Concierge Service, which boasts both in-person or virtual tastings, plus additional perks like exclusive event invites, discounts, and food pairings.

"What sets us apart from some other wine clubs out there is that we have an incredible portfolio of real vineyards, real winemakers and real people who are excited to share what they do with their guests," Jessica Kogan, chief digital and marketing officer for Vintage Wine Estates, explained. "While many wine clubs highlight wines from one winemaker, Travel + Leisure Wine members can enjoy wines and VIP benefits from 12 distinct wine estates."

Namely, the 12 wineries available to visit are B.R. Cohn, Clos Pegase, Cosentino, Girard, Sonoma Coast Vineyards, Swanson (which is slated to reopen in the coming months), The Flight Deck, Viansa, Laetitia, and Kunde, all of which are in California, as well as Firesteed (also reopening later this year) in Oregon, and Owen Roe in Washington.

Additionally, the website allows both members and non-members to purchase wines by the bottle, which will include learning materials directly from the winemakers highlighting how the wines were produced and discussing their unique characteristics.

"The Travel + Leisure brand is synonymous with extraordinary experiences, and our latest offering extends that brand promise to a whole new platform. Great wine elevates an ordinary dinner at home or away and transforms it into a special event," Noah Brodsky, president of Travel + Leisure Group, stated. "As we expand the Travel + Leisure brand into new products, services and experiences, the collaboration with Vintage Wine Estates was a natural next step to grow our business."
