Travis Barker is a rockstar both on and off the stage—and his latest Instagram video is proof.

During a family vacation with wife Kourtney Kardashian, the Blink-182 drummer challenged himself with a new water activity.

In a video shared to the social media platform, Barker showed off his adventurous side by wakesurfing.

The activity is similar to wakeboarding, with the only difference being that the user releases the rope to ride the wave.

Barker captioned the clip: “Learn something new everyday 🏄‍♂️🌊”

Rocking red swim trunks and a life vest, the musician seemed to get the hang of it for a bit before losing his balance and plopping into the water.

The picturesque background indicates that the footage was captured during the “lake life” getaway with Kardashian and her kids, Penelope and Reign Disick, who were pictured in separate shots on Instagram as well as her Instagram Story.

Barker previously conquered his fear of heights, sharing a video of himself zip-lining over a wooded forest.

“Used to be afraid of heights,” he captioned the daring video.

However, every vacation must come to an end, and Kardashian’s Instagram Story revealed that Barker got back to work shortly after taking some time off to enjoy all that nature has to offer.

The musician rejoined Machine Gun Kelly's “Mainstream Sellout” tour for the remaining concert dates despite advice from his doctor, per Billboard.

“Against his doctor’s orders AND with a broken thumb, I convinced @travisbarker to come join us for the last couple days,” MGK wrote on an Instagram Story on August 9.

Barker confirmed his return to the stage the following day, writing on Twitter: “I’m impregnating the entire crowd at the @machinegunkelly show tonight.”

Kardashian shared footage from Barker’s show in an Instagram Story on August 11 captioned "last night."

MGK and Barker played St Louis, Missouri on August 10, with a show set for Noblesville, Indiana on the 11th.

While fans were mostly thrilled to see Barker back in action, a handful of comments urged the rockstar to “take care of himself."

In June, Barker was hospitalized due to pancreatitis triggered by a colonoscopy.
