A weekend snowstorm resulted in treacherous roads packed with ice and snow around Kitsap County.
Extremely cold temperatures are expected to continue on Monday, with high temperatures not leaving the 20s after lows in the teens Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
Roads continue to be dangerous, according to the Washington State Patrol.

On Monday morning, Kitsap County reported three roads closed because of snow and ice: In North Kitsap, NE Beachwood Avenue is closed between Indianola and Harbor View. In South Kitsap, SW Lider Road is closed between Sidney and Bethel Burley and SW Lakeway Boulevard is closed between Sidney and Bethel Burley
As of Monday morning, Kitsap County closed all of its county offices, the Kitsap County Courthouse as well as all county parks. The county's recycling and garbage drop-off facilities in Olalla, Silverdale and Hansville were also closed Monday. The Olympic View Transfer Station remained on its normal operating schedule.
In Poulsbo, City Hall is open but providing limited services, according to a post on Facebook, which added: "Our Public Works Crews are working on plowing the roads, and picking up garbage as they are able." Garbage collection was canceled for Monday.
The city of Port Orchard has reduced its City Hall lobby hours to 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. through Thursday, according to the city. It will be closed on Friday for New Year's Eve Day.
Puget Sound Naval Shipyard curtailed operations from swing shift on Sunday through the end of the day shift on Monday.
On Naval Base Kitsap, the Trigger Gate remains closed at Bangor. In Bremerton, the Charleston Gate and the Manchester Gate are both open, but Cole Avenue is closed. In Keyport, the main gate is open, while the Westfall/Giffen road gate is secured. The Navy Exchange: Bangor and Bremerton Main NEX facilities are scheduled to be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. All other facilities are projected to be closed, according to an announcement on social media.
The Kitsap Mall in Silverdale will be closed on Monday because of the weather.
