‘They treated me like I was a f*cking terrorist’: Pewdiepie says his worst flight experience happened in Malaysia

Swedish YouTuber Pewdiepie recently revealed in a CinnamonToastKen video that his worst flight experience happened in Malaysia.

The clip, which was posted on CinnamonToastKen’s YouTube channel on Friday, shows the two social media stars reacting to another video titled “Airline Passenger Freakouts.”

In the middle of their recording, Pewdiepie, whose real name is Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, reveals that his worst flight experience happened while he was trying to fly back home from Malaysia.

“We were on the flight,” Kjellberg, 33, says in the video. “Two hours pass and I’m like, 'Why have we not left yet? What’s going on here?' Then all of a sudden they take us out and they’re like, ‘Sorry, no more flight today.’”

The online celebrity, who has over 111 million subscribers on YouTube, notes that it was 2 a.m. when they were asked to leave the plane. Kjellberg also shares that they were forced to sleep in the airport lobby after all the hotels they checked were already fully booked.

The nightmare apparently did not end there.

“On that flight as well, they treated me like I was a f*cking terrorist,” he adds. “Because I had those giant-ass portable batteries.’”

Earlier this year, Kjellberg fulfilled his longtime dream of relocating to Japan. The YouTube star, who once thought “Squid Game” was an “anime rip-off,” has been discussing the idea of purchasing a home in the East Asian country since 2019.
