Tree Falls on Houston House During Hurricane Nicholas

A tree fell onto a home in metropolitan Houston early on Tuesday, September 14, as Tropical Storm Nicholas lashed parts of the Lone Star State.

Charlene Lloyd McHenry, who shot this footage, told Storyful she was inside her Spring home with her two sons when they were woken by noises on the roof.

“Then the tree hit and it was like a bomb explosion,” she said, adding that the tree’s branches were “protruding into the dining room and attached garage.”
