Trees Battered by Wind as Hurricane Ian Hits Florida

Florida Gulf Coast University encouraged its students to shelter in place as Hurricane Ian made landfall near Fort Myers, Florida, on Wednesday, September 28.

Lee County, where the FGCU campus is located, enacted a curfew for residents starting at 6 pm on Wednesday lasting until further notice.
