Trees Uprooted as Tornado Touches Down Near Annapolis, Maryland

A tornado was confirmed south of Annapolis amid severe weather in Maryland on Thursday, September 3, the National Weather Service said.

Several tornado warnings were issued for Carroll, Howard, Montgomery, Baltimore, and Prince George’s counties, local TV station WTOP reported.

CBS Baltimore reported that around 14,000 people in the Baltimore area lost power at the height of the storms.
