Trees, vegetation to be removed near pedestrian bridges in Jamestown Parks

Dec. 1—The city of Jamestown's Forestry Department and the Jamestown Parks and Recreation District will remove trees and vegetation near the pedestrian bridges of Nickeus, Klaus and McElroy Parks beginning Monday, Dec. 4.

This work is being completed to prepare for the replacement of bridges in summer 2024. Landscaping enhancements will be conducted as part of the project.
