TreeSize Free makes managing your valuable disk space easier than ever by providing an accurate view of how much space any given group of files is taking up on your computer.
Pros
Graphic interface: The icons at the top of the screen upon launch are easy to understand and make navigation and program use very straightforward.
Familiar folder navigation: You are presented with a very recognizable navigation tree, built on the same structure as Windows Explorer.
Cons
Crashing program: When you finish installing the program, you're given the option of running it as an administrator or regular user. In our tests, choosing to run it as a regular user led to program crashes.
Hidden features: Some of TreeSize's finest features, such as the ability to attach a TreeSize option to the right-click menu in Windows for easy future file size info access, are hidden in menus.
Bottom Line
TreeSize's ability to quickly reveal where your space is being eaten up makes it much easier to clear up room when needed.
