Tremendous 10 poll includes some 1st-time nominees

Haines City junior Ke’shonTyler (football) had an 80-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and rushed for 77 yards on six carries. For the season, he has rushed for 396 yards.

Mulberry sophomore Lloyd Knight (football) rushed for 140 yards and three touchdowns in the Panthers’ 41-21 victory over Santa Fe Catholic. For the season, he has rushed for 260 yards on 23 carries.

Lake Gibson senior setter Ava Wilke (volleyball) finished with 78 Assists, 11 kills, four aces and 39 digs in two matches. For the season, she has 242 assists and 111 digs.

Lake Region sophomore quarterback Kalvin Johnson (football) completed 13 of 23 passes for 316 yards and four touchdowns with one interception in a loss to Lake Placid.

Lakeland Christian junior Parker St. John (football) completed 14 of 18 passes for 236 yards with two touchdowns. For the season, St. John completed 24 for 42 passes for 390 yards and three touchdowns.

Lake Wales freshman Kindyl Goff (volleyball) finished with 28 assists and seven digs in a victory over Victory Christian. For the season, she has 136 assists and 42 digs.

McKeel junior Juleigh Urbina (volleyball) finished with 115 assists, 23 digs and 20 kills in six matches. For the season, Urbina has 313 assists, 73 digs and 57 kills.

Lakeland Christian junior Emilie Morin (girls golf) shot 77 to finish third at the Hawkins Invitational Pinecrest.

Santa Fe Catholic sophomore Maren Lausell (volleyball) finished with 22 kills and 23 digs for the week.

Bartow running back Trequan Jones (volleyball) rushed 20 times for 124 yards in the Yellow Jackets’ victory over Bartow.
