We took a data-driven look at the question, using Yelp to analyze which restaurants have been getting a notable uptick in attention this month.

To find out who made the list, we looked at Dallas businesses on Yelp by category and counted how many reviews each received. Rather than compare them based on number of reviews alone, we calculated a percentage increase in reviews over the past month, and tracked businesses that consistently increase their volume of reviews to identify statistically significant outliers compared to past performance.

Banh Mi Station

Open since February, this Vietnamese and Asian fusion spot, which offers sandwiches and more, is trending compared to other businesses categorized as "Sandwiches" on Yelp.

Citywide, sandwich spots saw a median 3.6 percent increase in new reviews over the past month, but Banh Mi Station saw an 83.3 percent increase, maintaining a convincing four-star rating throughout.

Located at 1818 Sylvan Ave., Suite C100, in Eagle Ford, Banh Mi Station offers traditional banh mi sandwiches.

Bellagreen

Whether or not you've been hearing buzz about Lake Highlands's Bellagreen, the New American spot, which offers salads and pizza, is a hot topic according to Yelp review data.

While businesses categorized as "American (New)" on Yelp saw a median 3 percent increase in new reviews over the past month, bellagreen bagged a 14.1 percent increase in new reviews within that timeframe, maintaining a solid 4.5-star rating.

Open at 8041 Walnut Hill Lane, Suite 810, since November 2018, Bellagreen offers salads, handheld foods, burgers, pizza and pasta.

3 Eleven Kitchen & Cocktails

3 Eleven Kitchen & Cocktails offers a brunch, lunch and dinner menus. Over the past month, it's seen its Yelp rating tick down from 4.5 stars to four stars.
