New trendy boutique in Stoughton offers fashions from around the globe

STOUGHTON – If bright colors and elegant styles from paradise peak your interest, then Stoughton has a place for you.

Misspia, located at 345 Washington St., is giving the area a splash of new outfits all the way from Brazil, with new collections year-round.

“I love elegance, I love elegant pieces, and we have so many beautiful styles for a sophisticated look,” Larissa Dias, 35, owner of Misspia, said.

The large boutique gives shoppers the celebrity feels with Brazilian cappuccinos brewing and ready-to-serve, luxury try-on stalls, and staged areas for pictures or to sit and enjoy drinks.

Dias also has games and toys to keep children occupied as Mommy finds her new outfit.

The chic clothing store offers a variety of merchandise, from all beach wear to sunglasses, accessories, jeans, tops, pants, jumpsuits, and dresses. Dias also makes sure to have a rack from local small businesses to uplift other women and their clothing brands.

“You can shop for any casual occasion here. We have dresses for wedding guests, brunch with the girls, a nice dinner out, or a day full of running errands,” Dias said.

Getting the boutique off the ground was a labor of love as it took many trials and tribulations. Dias stayed close to God as she prayed for the ability to bring her dreams to life.

“I have to thank God but also my friends and family. They helped so much with the store,” Dias said.So far, the store has been open since December 2021, and business has been great.Dias runs the online store and the physical location.

“I recently got an online order from Minnesota, and I don’t know anyone from there. It's a surreal feeling,” Dias said.Currently, in-store customers can shop the Blossom collection, which is made up of colorful patterns, bright colors, texture jean shorts, cutout pieces, and dress pants with florescent colors of spring.

“Every season, we change the collections to keep everything new and up to date with the fashion in Brazil,” Dias said.

A big bonus to shopping at Misspia is the in-house tailor for a small fee.

“We offer many ways for customers to buy merchandise. For example, we have Klarna, After Pay, and a loyalty program for points to redeem gift cards starting at $100 to $500,” Dias said.

Dias is also a lover of the earth and provides biodegradable and recycled shopping bags and recycled honeycomb paper.

In the future, Dias hopes her chic boutique will be the bread and butter of her philanthropy work.

“I know I was put on earth to help people, and I love doing that. Hopefully, I can someday help kids and people worldwide,” Dias said.
