New trendy women's fashion store opens at Eastview Mall; first location in NY

Things are changing at Eastview Mall, where a highly anticipated Barnes & Noble location will open this spring.

A trendy women's fashion store has opened at Eastview Mall in Victor, Ontario County.

Dry Goods, which sells trendy clothing, jewelry and accessories geared to young women, on Tuesday opened its first New York store in a 3,625-square-foot space in the Macy’s wing. Founded in Davenport, Iowa, it operates under the same parent company as upscale department store Von Maur.

Plans for the store were announced in February by Wilmorite, which owns and operates the mall along with The Mall at Greece Ridge, The Marketplace Mall in Henrietta and Pittsford Plaza in Pittsford.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dry Goods to Eastview and be home to their first location in New York," Eastview's General Manager Mike Kauffman said in a news release. "We are looking forward to the additional business and selection in the Macy’s Wing."

The store will hold a grand opening celebration on Saturday. Patrons who spend $50 or more will receive a free tote bag, while supplies last.
