- Padres outfielder Trent Grisham was one of the breakout players of last year's shortened season, showing strong on base stability, while racking up useful counting stats as the team's leadoff man. We were basically talking about a 2020 player with the ability to score 100 runs over a full season. Grisham was looking like a top 20 outfielder in fantasy drafts this spring before a left hamstring strain in March forced him to the injured list to begin the year.

Fortunately, he was able to make it back after only missing about a week. Now, sometimes, there's a bit of panic from fantasy managers when a player begins the year on the injured list. But if Grisham slipped in your draft, you're likely going to be very happy.

The 24-year-old has started his season red hot, and he's been the regular leadoff man for the Padres, again, even against Pirates left hander Tyler Anderson on April 14. Grisham wasn't nearly as impressive against Southpaws, last year, as he was against right handers. But if he can hold his own, he's going to deliver a ton of value in these Padres line up.
