Trevor Lawrence special edition Topps card set to hit shelves Wednesday

Trevor Lawrence hasn’t even joined the NFL yet, and his name has still been popular when it comes to endorsements and collaborations. Last week it was reported that he was working on an endorsement deal with Adidas, and this week, he’ll be keeping his momentum as a businessman going with a collaboration with Topps. His card set, which we mentioned earlier this offseason, will be hitting the shelves Wednesday.

It was announced back on March 11 that Lawrence had signed a deal with Topps, who is one of the United State’s leaders in manufacturing trading cards. As previously reported, the box set will consist of 50 cards and is expected to sell for less than $100.

Of the whole set, 20 cards were designed by Lawrence’s sister-in-law and brother, Brooke and Chase Lawrence, who are artists. The other 30 will be made by Topps and will reflect past designs.

Fans can expect a unique set of cards as Topps will likely stay away from a lot of sports references — if at all. The reason for that is because Topps’ rivals, Panini, hold exclusive NFL/NFLPA physical card rights currently.

The set will be sold on Topps’ official site and will reportedly sell for less than $100. And with the trading card market seeing great success at the moment, they could sell out fast, so Jags fans may want to but them early.
