Trevor Noah Of ‘The Daily Show’ Says Jussie Smollett Story Writer Deserves A Raise

The Jussie Smollett story is the gift that keeps on giving to comedy writers.

Two months ago, “two Trump supporters who turned out to be Nigerian weight lifters” attacked Smollett, Trevor Noah said on The Daily Show Wednesday night.

And now, according to Noah, the story is starting to get weird.

“This is a storyline that no one could have predicted,” said Noah, referring to the defamation suit filed by the brothers, who claim extreme emotional distress because Smollett claimed they weren’t part of any scam to fake a hate crime, as has been alleged.
