Trevor Noah on Trump's weird, waffling national border emergency

President Donald Trump finally did what he's been warning the nation he might. This morning he declared a national emergency at the U.S. border with Mexico. Since Congress isn't giving Trump the money he wants to build a border wall, his plan is to use the declaration to take money from some other pot.

That plan might work, but the logic isn't sound, says late-night comic Trevor Noah. Why? Aren't emergencies generally more pressing than Trump's ongoing case for a border wall? Take a look at today's Best of Late Night, above, to hear Noah's argument that this is all a bit too weird.

And Seth Meyers compares Trump to an odd McDonald's complainer.
