Earlier this week, Trevor Lawrence gifted 12 offensive lineman luxury watches worth around $5,000 each.

I think he owes the defense some, too.

In what can be considered the biggest game of Trevor Lawrence's young career, he certainly didn't have the game he would have liked.

Lawrence missed several opportunities with overthrown or misplaced passes, but the Jaguars defeated the Tennessee Titans 20-16 Saturday night thanks to the defense, making the playoffs for the first time since 2017.

With the win, the Jaguars are AFC South champs and will host a playoff game next weekend.

With the Jaguars trailing 10-0, Lawrence threw a beautiful deep pass to Christian Kirk that resulted in a 25-yard touchdown. The Jaguars trailed 10-7 with 2:56 to play before the half.

Lawrence went to the half with 98 yards, leaving him at 3,999 for the season.

An 8-yard pass to Jamal Agnew to begin the second half put him over 4,000 for the season.

At 10:09 of the third quarter, Lawrence sailed a pass well over a wide open Zay Jones in the end zone that would have allowed the Jaguars to take their first lead. Instead, the settled for a Riley Patterson field goal from 26 yards out to make the score 13-10 Tennessee.

Lawrence missed another opportunity when he overthrew a pass to an open Marvin Jones at 8:25 in the fourth quarter that would have been a first down, but instead resulted in a punt.

Wit the Jaguars trailing 16-13, Rayshawn Jenkins forced a fumble, and Josh Allen returned it for a touchdown, the pivotal play that won the game.

Lawrence, the 2021 No. 1 overall pick also has done something no QB has done in NFL history: he's started all 34 regular season games in his first two seasons. Granted, last year was the first year with 17 games, but still, he's the only one. Ten QBs were taken in 2021, and none have started 34 games but Lawrence.

Here's how his complete 2022 regular-season stats compare to his full 2021 season.
