Trey Calvin’s 44 points not enough in Wright State’s Thursday night triple overtime loss at YSU
The Wright State Raiders got a career scoring game from Trey Calvin but it was not enough in a 91-89 triple overtime loss Thursday night at Youngstown State.
They fall to 13-11 overall, 6-7 in the Horizon League.

He led the Raiders with 44 points, one point shy of the school’s single-game record of 45 points by Bill Edwards in December 1992.
Calvin scored 20 of his 44 points after regulation and it marks the fifth 40-point game in the Horizon League this season.
WSU trailed, 89-87, in triple overtime when Calvin hit a jumper in front of the Raider bench with six seconds left to the tie game at 89-89.
Former Dayton Flyer guard Dwayne Cohill broke a double team in the backcourt and scored as the buzzer sounded to give the Penguins the win.
This was just the third triple overtime game in program history for the Raiders and first since 1977.
Wright State’s next game is Saturday night when they play at Robert Morris in Moon Township, Pennsylvania.
Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
