There are certain advantages to working for a government agency, including some benefits and protections that are different for a government employee. You may even get additional holidays off of work.

City of Kennewick

IT Business Analyst

  • Pay: $91,572-$122,188/year

  • Description: Provide application support, testing and training for the Bi-County Police Information Network. Responsibilities include improving processes, conducting product analysis, working with member agencies and providing technical advice.

  • Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis or related. Valid driver’s license, ability to pass a criminal background check, two years of relevant experience.

Temporary IT Security Analyst

  • Pay: $91,572-$122,088/year

  • Description: Full-time position, three year term. Maintain several citywide security programs while working with the IT team. Monitor progress and resolution recommendations for security issues.

  • Requirements: Two-year degree in Computer Science or related field, two years of security analysis experience, or cybersecurity certification and four years of security analysis experience. Plus knowledge of LAN theory and Microsoft systems. Valid driver’s license, ability to pass a criminal background check, security clearance.
