Summer Learning is an opportunity to combat summer slide, a reduction of knowledge because of not being actively engaged in learning opportunities that often happen over the summer.

CCPL’s Summer Learning Program provides opportunities to log reading and participate in learning activities, all designed to maintain students’ learning skills. Summer learning opportunities, as well as prizes, are available for all ages.

The program is open to readers of all ages, and there are four separate age groups for the program: Pre-K, K-5, teens and adults. Library cards are not required to participate in the program.

To register for CCPL’s Summer Learning Program, visit library.chesterfield.gov/Summer-Learning.

The Tri-City Chili Peppers are part of the Coastal Plain League and play out of Shephard Stadium, located at 901 Meridian Ave. in Colonial Heights. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the gate.
