Jack Lawrence Waite, 76, of Kennewick, died Aug. 25 in Kennewick.

He was born in Pleasant Hill, Calif., and lived in Kennewick for 46 years.

The U.S. Army veteran was a retired manager and engineer at the Hanford site.

James E. Hall

James Eric Hall, 64, of Kennewick, died Aug. 27 in Kennewick.

He was born in Altadena, Calif., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 55 years.

He was a retired construction worker.

Jon E. Farris

Jon Earle Farris, 71, of Richland, died Aug. 26 in Richland.

He was born in Livingston, Mont., and lived in Richland for 50 years.

He was retired from security work.

Israel Silva Villalobos

Israel Silva Villalobos, 68, of Grandview, died Aug. 27 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center, Richland.

He was born in Acambaro, Guanajuato, Mexico, and lived in the Tri-Cities for 25 years.

He was retired.

William ‘Bill’ McDaniel

William “Bill” McDaniel, 73, of Sunnyside, died Aug. 29 in Sunnyside.

He was born in Prosser and was a longtime Sunnyside resident.

He was a retired construction laborer.

Loren R. Hafer

Loren Ray Hafer, 96, of Pasco, died Aug. 28 in Pasco.

He was born in Spokane and lived in the Tri-Cities for 50 years.

He was a retired truck driver in the transportation industry.

Sylvia P. Downey

Sylvia Pauline Downey, 85, of Benton City, died Aug. 25.

She was born in Benton City and was a lifelong Benton City resident.

She was a retired lab technician.

Neil Floyd Shafer, 68, of Kennewick, died Aug. 20 at home.

He was born in Marne, Mich., and lived in Kennewick for three years.

The U.S. Army veteran was a retired tradesman.

Velma C. Carlisle, 91, of Kennewick, died Aug. 26 in Kennewick.

She was born in Rigby, Idaho, and lived in the Tri-Cities area for 68 years.

She was a homemaker.

Kyle Max Rickords, 27 of Prosser, died Aug. 26 at home.

He was born in Kennewick and moved to Prosser in 2013.

He worked as a dishwasher in a pizza restaurant.
