He was born in Sacramento, Calif., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 47 years.

He was a retired electrical engineer at the Hanford site.

James Allan Hurd, 54, of Pasco, died May 18 in Pasco.

He was born in The Dalles, Ore., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 15 years.

Dennis Ray Hill, 72, of Pasco, died June 2 at home.

He was born in Taft, Calif., and lived in the Tri-Cities since 2000.

He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Ray Poland and Sons Construction.

He was born in Toppenish and was a lifelong Yakima Valley resident.
