Alan Harold Gerard, 69, of Richland, died Aug. 26 in Richland.

He was born in Sunnyside and lived in the Tri-Cities for 49 years.

He was a retired planner for Babcock Services Inc.

Charles H. Manning

Charles Henry Manning, 91, of West Richland, died Aug. 29 at home.

He was born in Grants Pass, Ore., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 18 years.

The Army veteran was a retired machinist for Center Electrical Shop.

Karla Faye Hill, 60, of Yakima and formerly of Sunnyside, died Aug. 29 in Yakima.

She was born in Prosser and was a lifelong Yakima Valley resident.

Estella Gaitan Mendoza

Estella Gaitan Mendoza, 82, of Kennewick, died Aug. 26 in Kennewick.

She was born in Texas and lived in the Tri-Cities for 45 years.

She was a retired lead liner at Lamb Weston.
