She was a pastor’s wife at Temple Baptist Church.

Elaine Joan Akerson, 85, of Pasco, died June 2.
She was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and lived in the Tri-Cities area for 54 years.
She was a homemaker and retired daycare provider.

Elsie Schilperoort Wassenaar, 95, of Shoreline, Wash., died June 6 in Shoreline.
She was born in Sunnyside and was a longtime Sunnyside resident.
She was a retired teacher.

She was born in Phillipsburg, Kan., and lived in the Tri-Cities area for 37 years.
She was the vice president of a winery.

Donald Joseph Hart, 73, of Kennewick, died June 6 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and lived in the Tri-Cities for 45 years.
He was a retired facility manager at the Hanford site.
