Kenneth A. Hoopengarner

Kenneth Allyn Hoopengarner, 72, of Benton City, died Sept. 17 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and lived in Benton City for 22 years.

He was a retired journalist for the Tri-City Herald.

Compassionate Cremation Society of Richland, is in charge of arrangements.

Patricia A. McKenna

Patricia Ann McKenna, 93, of Richland, died Sept. 13 in Richland.

She was born in Sharon, Penn., and has lived in the Tri-Cities for 50 years.

She was a retired registered nurse.

Robert M. Zufelt

Robert Merrill Zufelt, 78, of Richland, died Sept. 13 in Richland.

He was born in Newberg, Ore., and has lived in the Tri-Cities for 49 years.

He was a retired maintenance worker for the Richland Water Department

Lewis A. Hackney

Lewis Allen Hackney, 88, of Kennewick, died Sept. 14 in Kennewick.

He was born in Pasco and was a lifelong Tri-Cities resident.

He was the retired owner of H&H Sales and Rentals.

Mueller’s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

Betina R. Huels

Betina Rae Huels, 42, of Pasco, died Sept. 16 in Kennewick.

She was born in Richland and was a lifelong Tri-Cities resident.

She was the lead biller for Westcare.

Mueller’s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

Nicholas V. Pavicic

Nicholas Vincent Pavicic, 47, of West Richland, died Sept. 13 in West Richland.

He was born in Garden City, Mich., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 15 years.

He was an engineer for Bechtel.
