Virgil W. ‘Wes’ Burkhead

Virgil Wesley “Wes” Burkhead, 86, of Kennewick, died May 4 in Kennewick.

He was born in San Antonio, Texas, and lived in the Tri-Cities area for 69 years.

He was the owner and operator of Bailey H20 water and waste water operations.

Georgia Slonecker, 99, of Pasco, died May 6 in Pasco.

She was born in Bruno, Neb., and lived in the Tri-Cities for seven years.
