He was born in Sunnyside and was a lifelong Tri-Cities resident.

He was a developer and general contractor for New Environment Corp.

Johan Gerrit Weenink, 73, of Richland, died May 4 in Richland.

He was born in Neptune, N.J., and lived in the Tri-Cities area for 44 years.

He was self employed.

James O. Honeyman

James Orville Honeyman, 69, of Pasco, died May 5 in Richland.

He was born in Hettinger, N.D., and lived in the Tri-City area for 48 years.

He was a retired chemical engineer at the Hanford site.

Marlene R. Brantzeg

Marlene Ray Brantzeg, 83, of Kennewick, died May 5 at Chaplaincy Hospice Care in Kennewick.

She was born in Beverly Hills, Calif., and lived in the Tri-Cities for the past 20 years.

She was a retired meat cutter.

Susan J. Lande

Susan Jane Lande, 89, of Richland, died May 8 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

She was born in Bend, Ore., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 20 years.

She was a retired medical assistant and phlebotomist.

Ana Gloria Switzer, 83, of Kennewick, died May 6 in Kennewick.

She was born in El Salvador and lived in the Tri-Cities area since 1965.

She was a retired court clerk for Benton and Franklin counties.

Gary Cecil Sowers, 69, of Grandview, died May 8 in Grandview.

He was born in Sunnyside and was a lifelong Lower Yakima Valley resident.

He was a retired supervisor for a plastic pipe company.
