The Tri-County Athletic Association picks best of its best in seven spring sports

Mason Reid of Grace Brethren was named the Player of the Year for the second straight season and Hunter Watkins of Grace Brethren earned Pitcher of the Year honors for the 2022 All-Tri-Valley League baseball team in the Tri-County Athletic Association.

Named to the first team were Zack Day, Zach Mora and Mason Goulart of Grace Brethren; Nick Miller, Frank Tinoco, Ben Hall and Jalen Patton of St. Bonaventure; Jack Stowe, Gabe Martinez and Isaac Veal of Bishop Diego; Makani Nabarro and Nolan Waters of Dunn; and Emmett Mack of Cate.

Named to the second team were Carter Johnson, Grant Goulart and Owen Zahn of Grace Brethren; Cody Hoffman, Timmy Alvarez, Brendan McBride and JD Goodcase of St. Bonaventure; Evon Weeks and Austin Chrestenson of Bishop Diego; Theodore Anderson and Aidan Waters of Dunn; and Quinn Pullen of Cate.

Ariana Gonzalez of Santa Clara was named the MVP and Joie Steinkamp of Grace Brethren and Alyssa Zaragoza of Santa Clara were named co-Pitchers of the Year.
