Tri-County gearing up for holiday fun this weekend

Nov. 30—TRI-COUNTY — As Christmas approaches, there are several events happening in the Tri-County this weekend.

Friday, Dec. 1

11 a.m-9 p.m: Christmas in Who-Ville at Town Square in Barbourville. Who-Ville Village will also feature an ice skating rink, inflatables, rides, homemade sips & sweets, crafts, small boutique vendors, food trucks, and more!

Noon: Hometown Bank Farmers Market Pavilion Ribbon Cutting at 208 N Main St. in Corbin. The culmination of nearly two years of work will feature live music from Josh Teague and light refreshments.

5-10 p.m.: Evergreen Artisan Market at The Pennington, 500 S Main St. in Corbin. Featuring 35 vendors with live music, photos with Santa, food trucks and more!

7 p.m.: 2023 Randy Smith Christmas on Main Parade in downtown London. Experience the magic of "Candy Canes and Carols" at this year's parade. Check out the webpage at www.VisitLondonKY.com/Christmas for more information.

Saturday, Dec. 2

11 a.m.-10 p.m.: Evergreen Artisan Market at The Pennington, 500 S Main St. in Corbin. Featuring 35 vendors with live music, photos with Santa, food trucks and more!

11 a.m-8 p.m.: Christmas in Who-Ville at Town Square in Barbourville. Who-Ville Village will also feature an ice skating rink, inflatables, rides, homemade sips & sweets, crafts, small boutique vendors, food trucks, and more!

6 p.m.: "I Believe in Santa Claus" Christmas Parade in Downtown Barbourville. You can watch the parade on the Square or along the parade route. There are concerts scheduled before and after the parade/tree lighting. The parade will not be over until you see the float carrying Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

7 p.m.: Christmas Parade in Downtown Corbin. Join the pre-parade activities at Nibroc Park starting at 5 p.m.! Parade starts at 7 p.m. and will go from 18th Street to Gordon Hill! Make sure to come early, or stay late, and #shoplocal at the Evergreen Artisans Market at The Pennington.

7 p.m.: Hanging of the Green at the Green Space on Main in Williamsburg. Kick off Christmas with pictures with the Grinch, music by the Williamsburg High School Choir, vendors and more!
