PLEASANTON, CA — Asymptomatic residents of Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore are now eligible to receive tests at the Alameda County Fairgrounds site.
Previously only people experiencing symptoms associated with the new coronavirus were eligible.
All residents ages 10 and older are eligible. The site has the capacity to test 1,200 people per week from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays, or until tests run out.
No appointments are necessary and there will be no out-of-pocket costs or cash pay fees, but all insurances will be accepted and billed, according to site operator Stanford Health Care — ValleyCare. Patients must provide a phone number or email to receive results, which are available within 72 hours.
