Tri-Valley League and Frontier League pick their best of the 2022-23 winter season

Junior Dylan Benner of the league champion, CIF-Southern Section Division 4AA and CIF-State Division IV regional finalist St. Bonaventure High boys basketball team was named the Most Valuable Player of the Tri-Valley League.

Named to the first team were Nico Macias and Sam Seiden of St. Bonaventure; J.D. Pettit and Andy Olmos of Santa Clara; Rob Carney of Thacher; Bryan Trejo of Bishop Diego; and Babacar Pouye and Jengus Ercil of Cate.

Esmeralda Casarez of Foothill Tech and Lily Simolon of Bishop Diego were named the co-Most Valuable Players of the Tri-Valley League.
