Tri-Valley students earn scholarships

ZANESVILLE − The Muskingum County Community Foundation and Scholarship Central Access Program have announced scholarships awarded to graduating seniors of Tri-Valley High School.

The Dixon Family Scholarship was awarded to Isabella Baughman, Ely Maddox and Connor Shoenleben. Baughman plans to study business administration at Wilmington College, Maddox will major in computer and information science at Ohio State University.

Shoenleben and Katie Davis received the Robert F. and Wendy J. (Longaberger) Little Scholarship. Davis plans to attend Grove City College to major in biochemistry and Shoenleben will major in computer science and engineering at OSU.

Raegan Smith got the John Stashonsky Memorial Scholarship. She plans to study occupational therapy at Davenport University.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Fund was awarded to Noelle Flarey, Ava Harris, Joul Moore and Arpen Parekh. Flarey plans to attend Ohio University and Harris will go to Ohio Northern University.

Moore was also awarded the Richard A. DeHaven Memorial Scholarship and will study chemical engineering at Ohio University. Parekh was also awarded the Coach Keller Memorial Athletic Scholarship and will study mechanical engineering at the University of Cincinnati.

The Muskingum Ag Education Scholarship was awarded to Liddie Bugglin and Mason Prouty. Bugglin plans to study biology at Ohio University Zanesville and Prouty will major in agriculture education at OSU ATI.

The Josephine Sebach Educational Fund was awarded to Allyson Barclay, Cadence Hendershott and Jake Slaboden. Barclay plans to attend Bethany College, Hendershott is going to Marietta College and Slaboden will attend the University of Cincinnati.
