Tribeca TV Festival: Stars hit the red carpet for 'Looking for Alaska,' 'Room 104' and more buzzy shows

There's a whole lot up ahead in teen TV.

"Looking for Alaska" made its debut this weekend at the Tribeca TV Festival, where stars Jay Lee, Kristine Froseth, Charlie Plummer and Denny Love were on hand to talk about the upcoming adaption of the fan-favorite John Green novel. The series will stream on Hulu starting October 18.

Meanwhile, Lucy Hale and the "Katy Keene" cast looked glamorous as they discussed the new series, which exists in the same Archie Comics-based universe as "Riverdale" but is set in New York City.

Of course, there's more to life than high school. The filmmakers behind "Room 104" sat down for a panel discussion of the HBO anthology series, which is entering its third season: "No false modesty here, but we make consistently good stuff," executive producer Mark Duplass said candidly. "And most people are consistently making s--t."

More highlights came from a 25th anniversary celebration of "Friends" and the world premiere of "Godfather of Harlem," which stars Forest Whitaker.
