It's fall, ya'll! And with it comes Halloween and fall festivals. Here's a list of Halloween and fall festivals that are planned around the area. The list will be updated with more events so keep checking back.

Halloween is not an event sponsored by the cities of Pineville or Alexandria. The City of Pineville recommends trick-or-treating from 5-8 p.m. Oct. 31. The City of Alexandria will observed trick-or-treating from 5-8 p.m.

Oct. 5-7

  • Ghosts, Goblins and Ghouls Nights

Where: Fighting Hand Brewing Company, 1600 Military Highway, Pineville

Ages: 21 and older

Saturday, Oct. 7 from 5-7 p.m, PunkyDoodle Designs will host a spooky bookmark class. Pre-registration required. Call (318) 704-0272, Jerrica Jae Franklin will present Liquid Courage and Lyrics Saturday, Oct. 7 from 6-9 p.m. $10 cover charge and $7 sign-up fee.

Trunk or treat for children of all ages. Visit each "trunk" or booth from the safety of your own vehicle as you "drive-thru" around the bank. Costumes encouraged.

Grant Parish Sheriff's Office Animal Control is hosting an adoption event. Free puppy breath kisses, photo ops, and waived adoption fees for fully vetted dogs that have been with animal control over 100 days.

Where: Pine Coupee Pentecostal Church, 229 Pine Coupee Road, Flatwoods

There will be a drawing for the fire trucks for the kids and a drawing for 2 gift cards for the young adults ages 13-18. Games, food and goodies will be handed out.

Catch the killer of Lilia Bradshaw. Set in 1960s era museum. Dress up in character (not required) while looking for clues. Characters include Blake Drake, museum staff member or Nelly Blys, a private collector from Germany. Must have 6 people to register and maximum of 13.

Over 30 organizations will be handing out treats and playing games at booths around the campus.

Come out for a night of fun and safe trick-or-treating presented by the PHS Anchor Club.

  • LAC's First Amateur Halloween Pickleball Tournament

Where: Louisiana Athletic Club, 1135 Expressway Drive, Pineville

Time: Starts at 9 a.m.

All proceeds go directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Registration will open this Saturday and will close Oct. 21. Sixteen team max. Plot twist: one eliminated team will have the opportunity to buy back into the tournament before the final championship game - the spot will go to the highest bidding team

CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospice and Heart of Hospice Alexandria is hosting a Fall Carnival and Haunted House fundraiser for the Hospice Promise Foundation. Family event with games, candy, and a haunted house.

The Hospice Promise Foundation assists patients and families with non-hospice related expenses such as rent and utility bills, emergency repairs, personal care items and food assistance. The foundation also funds patients’ last wishes, burial assistance, and community projects like bereavement camps for children and educational outreach programs for end-of-life care.

  • Spooktacular Track-or-Treat
