When is trick-or-treat? Here are times for Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky communities

Spooky season is upon us, and soon children across the region will be donning their scariest, funniest and cutest costumes to collect some candy.

The highly anticipated trick-or-treating tradition, called Beggars' Night by some, is right around the corner. But are you ready?

Most communities are celebrating the time-honored tradition from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, or Halloween night. Some have chosen to slightly adjust the hours, and others are doing it the weekend before Halloween.

Cincinnati communities

Here are the communities in Cincinnati hosting trick-or-treat from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31.

Butler County: College Corner, Fairfield, Fairfield Township, Hamilton, Hanover Township, Liberty Township, Middletown, Millville, Monroe, Ross Township, St. Clair Township, Trenton and West Chester Township.

Clermont County: Amelia, Batavia, Goshen, Bethel, Miami Township, Milford, New Richmond, Pierce Township and Union Township.

Boone County: Florence, Union and Walton.

Campbell County: Alexandria, Bellevue, Cold Spring, Dayton, Fort Thomas, Newport, Silver Grove and Wilder.

Gallatin County: Warsaw.

Grant County: Dry Ridge and Williamstown.

Kenton County: Bromley, Covington, Crescent Springs, Crestview Hills, Edgewood, Elsmere, Fort Mitchell, Fort Wright, Independence, Ludlow, Park Hills, Taylor Mill, Villa Hills and Walton.

Pendleton County: Butler and Falmouth.
