Trio of baby otters debuts at Stone Zoo
Three baby otters will get to explore their outdoor habitat for the first time at Stone Zoo.
The otters – known as “kits” – recently debuted at the zoo.
The kits are part of a North American river otter family at the zoo. Now that the weather’s warming up, the family will be able to access the outdoors from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Since this is a new experience for the babies, it will be up to them whether they go outside.
The zoo hopes they will start to spend more time outside each day as they get used to the outdoor habitat.
