Bloomington North's Max Miller is one of four competitors back at the Jasper boys' diving regional for a third time.

Competition for a spot at state starts Tuesday at 6 p.m. for Miller, Bloomington South's Michael Tierney, Edgewood's Quinn Balcam and Jaevyn Nikirk and Kade Bailey of Bedford North Lawrence.

The top 12 after the first eight dives will compete in the final round and it takes a top-eight finish to advance to the state finals on Saturday at the IU Natatorium.

Miller made it through last year, taking sixth. Also back for a third time are last year's regional champ, junior Colin Kruer of New Albany (498.20), Jasper's Mitchell Mauck, who was third, and Nathan Deputy of Evansville Memorial, who was eighth.

Kruer won the Floyd Central Sectional title (467.75), Mauck was the champ at Jasper's pool (449.35) and Deputy won the Evansville sectional (494.80). Miller had a 393.55 to win at East Central. The champion out of the Center Grove Sectional was Austin Clark of Franklin (341.70), who was 15th in 2022.
