Simplify Your Morning Routine With The Triple Braid Ponytail

I have said it before and I will say it again: I am always a fan of anything that helps get my morning running smoother.

We are all busy people, and even if you are a morning person like I am, you are probably still a not willing to spend twenty plus minutes of your morning doing your hair. And the most annoying part is that during this time of year, at least here in Columbus. There is so much humidity in the air that my hair is a frizzy mess when I leave the house!

That is why I have concocted a fun little hairstyle that can keep my hair out of my face, frizzless and the best part is that it takes under five minutes! It is perfect for humid and hectic mornings alike.

Read on below for the entire how to!

Step 1. First, while your hair is still slightly wet from showering, add some Smooth Infusion styling cream (I do about a dime size dollop for my hair length) to the ends of your hair and a very light amount just after your roots (directly on your roots can weigh your hair down). This stuff is pretty magical and keeps your hair from getting too wacky in humidity.

Step 2. Once your hair is dry, pull it back into a relatively tight pony tail. Separate three medium size chunks of hair apart from the rest of your ponytail (each of these will be an individual braid). I like to make sure that each piece is at the top of my ponytail to ensure that the braids are visible.

Step 3. Braid each individual piece of hair you set aside. This is the only part that can be a little time consuming depending on the thickness of your hair (I have baby hair so the ends get really tiny and take a while).

Step 4. Once all the braids are done, I like to tease out the rest of my ponytail slightly (be careful as teasing too much can be really damaging to your hair!). This just helps to give a little volume to your remaining locks and I think that it really helps to give the whole look a more laid back vibe!

That is it! The simplest yet still edgy and cool morning hair do! What are your go to hair ideas?
