Triple Crown: Ticketing and parking info for 2023 Triple Crown

Mar. 11—The Aiken Triple Crown is comprised of the Aiken Trials, the Aiken Spring Steeplechase and Pacers & Polo.

The Aiken Standard has compiled ticket and parking information for each event.

Aiken Trials

Saturday, March 18

Aiken Training Track, 538 Two Notch Road

10 a.m. — Gates, vendors and concessions open

11 a.m. — Vendors and concession open

11:30 a.m. — Pre-race festivities

Noon — Races begin after opening ceremonies

— Tickets and parking: General admission ticket is $25 in advance and at gate; general admission parking is $20.

Advance tickets are available at the Aiken Training Track office on Two Notch Road S.E. Tickets also are available at Unique Expressions on Whiskey Road, Aiken Saddlery on East Pine Log Road and Aiken County Visitors Center on Laurens Street. Tickets can also purchase tickets at the gate the day of the event for cash only.

Aiken Spring Steeplechase

Saturday, March 25

Aiken Steeplechase Racecourse, 2020 Richland Ave. E.

8 a.m. — Gates open

9 a.m. — Village of Shops opens

10:30 a.m. — Guarantor Terrace, Terrace Boxes and The Winners Club Open

Noon — Hat & Crazy Pants Contest at the Finish Line followed by a Parade of Hounds by the Aiken Hounds, presentation by the Aiken County Pony Club, and carriage parade.

1 p.m.: Race 1

1 p.m.: Race 2

2 p.m.: Race 3

2 p.m.: Race 4

3 p.m.: Race 5

4 p.m.: Race 6

— Physical tickets are required for all tailgate parking and patrons. QR codes and email receipts will not be accepted. Patron Tickets will be available for purchase at all gates ($40 cash or check) on race day. Patron parking will be available at the Green Gate ($40 cash or check) on race day. Lost or forgotten tickets or parking passes must be repurchased at race day prices. VIP Tent Guests will be required to present their parking hanger for entry and show their QR code at the entry to the tent.

— Patron tickets are $40 each. Children 10 and under are free and do not require a ticket. Patron Tickets are for admission only and does not provide vehicle entry to the event.

— Patron parking is available for $40 per vehicle. Patron Parking will be available at the Green Gate ONLY on race day for $40 per vehicle.

— Ticket outlets: Visit one of the following locations to purchase Patron Tickets and Green Gate Patron Parking: Aiken County Farm Supply, Aiken County Visitors Center, Fox & Lady, Unique Expressions and all Security Federal Bank locations.

Pacers & Polo

Saturday, April 1

Powderhouse Polo Field, 820 Powderhouse Road

10:30 a.m.: Gates open

1 p.m.: Polo match begins

— Match information: There will be an opening ceremony, six 7-minute chukkers, a 20-minute intermission and an awards ceremony at the end of the match.

— Tickets: General admission tickets may be purchased by calling the USC Aiken Athletic Department at 803-643-6862 or the athletic department office at the Convocation Center on Champion Way in Graniteville. Advance tickets are $8 for adults; $5 for children (under 6 free). Tickets at the gate on game day are $10 for adults and $5 for children (under 6 free).

— VIP Hospitality Tent: VIP tickets are $75 and include a buffet lunch; railside VIP viewing and seating; an open bar; program; Winner's Circle; and pictures. For information or to purchase VIP Hospitality Tent tickets, call the USCA Office of Advancement at 803-641-3518.

— Parking: $10 per car.

— Railside Spots: $125 per spot and includes 4 general admission tickets and programs. To reserve a railside parking space, call the USC Aiken Athletic Department at 803-641-3331.

— Proceeds: All proceeds provide scholarships for USC Aiken students.
