Troian Bellisario Finally Revealed Her and Patrick J. Adams' 1-Year-Old Daughter's Name

She shares it with a famous Disney princess.

Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario and her husband, Patrick J. Adams, welcomed their first child, a daughter, in October of 2018 with an Instagram post of the baby's tiny fingers holding her parents' hands. Since then, Troian and Patrick have mostly kept the baby hidden from their social media, besides a glimpse of her arms or legs in a few posts, and never revealed her name. Was it Spencer? Aria? Emily? Allison? Did she go non-traditional and name the baby "A?" Rosewood is an interesting name for a baby!

We're here to tell you that Troian did not name her daughter after anything PLL-related, but she did give her daughter the same name as an iconic Disney princess. In an Instagram Story, Troian let the baby's name slip. According to JustJared Jr., the actor shared her daughter's name in an Instagram Story, which is now expired. She made a video of herself in the kitchen with a lineup of Methodology meals, saying, "Whoa. Trying to figure out which of these I’m gonna give to Aurora for dinner." And just like that, the yearlong secret was out. "A" would be proud.

Aurora is, of course, the name of the princess in Sleeping Beauty, but it's also of Latin origin and means "dawn." It's not too popular in Hollywood (yet), though a few of Troian's fellow celebs have used the name before. Holly Madison's daughter is named Rainbow Aurora, and Rachel Bilson's daughter is Briar Rose, the name Princess Aurora uses when she goes into hiding with the fairies. The name also suits Troian's bohemian, romantic style, and we think it's the perfect choice for her daughter. And keeping it a secret for an entire year? Even the Liars couldn't do something like that! Congrats, Troian, Patrick, and Aurora!
