Hit-and-run driver kills man, 81, near the Florida Mall
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash in Orange County.

The deadly crash happened around 10 p.m. Monday at the intersection of South Orange Blossom Trail and Sunlife Path, near the Florida Mall.
Several troopers and other law enforcement responded to the crash site.

An 81-year-old Apopka man was killed while crossing the roadway.
The driver did not stop after striking the man, troopers said.
Troopers were on the scene for hours overnight.
Troopers said they found the passenger side mirror of a Toyota Camry -- a model year between 2018 and 2023. It could be from the vehicle involved in the crash.
